When: Sunday, Sept. 21st from 1-5 PM
Where: Oakland’s Lake Merritt Amphitheater
(12th St and Lake Merritt Dr – 4 blocks from Lake Merritt BART station)
What: Attend a large Climate Rally and help us to talk with people about single payer healthcare. We will be asking people to write letters and sign postcards in support of HR 676, the national Medicare for All Act.
As Medicare for All activists, we need to advocate for solutions to solve the global warming crisis. We also need to talk about how extreme weather negatively impacts people’s health, and those most vulnerable often do not have health insurance.
Please let us know if you can help. We find it’s best to talk with folks before the rally begins. We will have the table set up by 1PM.
